Waterloo – A Napoleonic experience

An excellent Napoleonic game played with the rules of the extinct Warhammer Historical: Waterloo – Tabletop Wargaming in the Age of Napoleon.

Maybe not the election rules to the must Napoleonic gamers, but they are simple and fun, that for me is the must important rule.

We have the Wellington Anglo-portuguese in one side and the Marshall Ney in the other, 1500 points for each side.

To be fair this time the gods dices have a pact with the french boys, 12 (6) in 28 dice rolls? And what we can say when in 2 turns all the Anglo-portuguese center is broken with rolls like 4 when they need a 5 in 2D6? They make that in 3 times, incredible.

At the end we have a very good gaming night with a lot of fun.

Waterloo – Uma experiência Napoleónica

Um excelente jogo do período napoleonico com as regras da extinta Warhammer Historical: Waterloo – Tabletop Wargaming in the Age of Napoleon.

Poderão ser regras polémicas para os mais puristas, mas são de facto simples e proporcionam jogos do mais divertido possível e afinal não é mesmo isso que se pretende?

Tivemos a coligação anglo-portuguesa de Wellington contra os franceses liderados pelo Marechal Ney, 1500 pts para cada lado

Para ser justo temos de dizer que desta vez os dados foram lançados e os deuses foram franceses. 12 (6) em 28 dados? Só mesmo o Miguel Lopes, para não falar do modo como em 2 turnos o centro inglês quebrou com lançamentos em que rolou sempre abaixo de 4 em 2D6, quando um 5 era suficiente.

No final ficou a convicção que temos umas excelentes regras para de um modo descontraído passar uma noite de jogatana muito agradável.
